Claire Rousay, who now lives in Los Angeles, moves musically between acoustic field research, ambient, drone, and musique concrète. Her delicate, transparent tracks, EPs, and albums revolve around the concept of “social space and community”; ambient sounds and restrained piano tones become soundscapes, field recordings interwoven with drones. As part of the Week-End Residency, Claire Rousay came to Cologne, where she developed and produced new soundscapes and tracks together with local artists and musicians.
